Throughout Michigan, we are mourning the passing of Ernie Harwell, whose career broadcasting Detroit Tigers' games touched so many lives. WASHINGTON – Sen. Carl Levin delivered the following statement on the Senate floor on May 5, 2010:

“For, lo, the winter is past,
The rain is over and gone;
The flowers appear on the earth;
The time of the singing of birds is come,
And the voice of the turtle is heard in our land.”

Mr. President, spring after spring, for four decades, a man named Ernie Harwell would recite those words. He would recite them at the beginning of the first baseball broadcast of spring training. And those are the words that would tell the people of Michigan that the long, cold winter was over.

Ernie was the radio voice of the Detroit Tigers for 42 years, and in that time, there may have been no Michiganian more universally beloved. Our state mourns today at his passing, yesterday evening, after a battle with cancer. He fought that battle with the grace, the good humor, and the wisdom that Michigan had come to expect, and even depend on, from a man we came to know and love.

This gentlemanly Georgian adopted our team, and our state, as his own. And his career would have been worthy had he done nothing more than bring us the sound of summer over the radio, recounting the Tigers' ups and downs with professionalism and wit, as he did.

But without making a show of it, Ernie Harwell taught us. In his work and his life, he taught us the value of kindness and respect. He taught us that, in a city and a world too often divided, we could be united in joy at a great Al Kaline catch, or a Lou Whitaker home run, or a Mark Fidrych strikeout. He taught us not to let life pass us by “like the house by the side of the road.”

In 1981, when he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, Ernie told the assembled fans what baseball meant to him. “In baseball democracy shines its clearest,” he said. “The only race that matters is the race to the bag. The creed is the rulebook. Color merely something to distinguish one team's uniform from another.” That was a lesson he taught us so well.

Mr. President, I will miss Ernie Harwell. All of Michigan will miss the sound of his voice telling us that the winter is past, that the Tigers had won a big game, or that they'd get another chance to win one tomorrow. We will miss his Georgia drawl, his humor, his humility, his quiet faith in God and in the goodness of the people he encountered. But we will carry in our hearts always our love for him, our appreciation for his work, and the lessons he gave us and left us and that we will pass on to our children and grandchildren.

I thought you might be interested to know that, on Tuesday morning, the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, which I chair, held the first in a series of four hearings aimed at unraveling the causes and consequences of the recent financial crisis.

The crisis was not an act of nature; it was a man-made economic assault that cost millions of jobs, evaporated billions of dollars in retirement savings and put our nation in the worst economic tailspin since the Great Depression.

Extreme greed was the driving force of the crisis. And, it will happen again unless we change the rules.

The next three hearings will look at the role of regulators, credit rating agencies, and investment banks in contributing to the financial crisis. The Subcommittee will present additional case histories to examine each stage of the assault.

The goals of the hearings are threefold: to construct a public record of the facts to deepen public understanding of what happened and to hold some of the perpetrators accountable; to inform the current legislative debate about the need for financial reform; and to provide a foundation for building better defenses to protect Main Street from the excesses of Wall Street.

LETTER TO CONCERNE ALL DISTRUCTORS OF HUMANITY AND THE WORLD!!!

 

To all “more than human beings”:

 

I would like more than anything else to make this world as natural as supposed to be by its creation. The reason that this world is getting destruct all the way is lack of honesty, wrong education, pseudo intelligence, great primitivism, greed, inhuman behavior and so on.

Please learn something what you didn't learn up to now or disliked to learn about that ideas that something else could be better then the human body are extremely stupid all the way!!! Nothing in the world can be equal to or greater then a human body or any other body! The human body and its natural function are the greatest person’s natural assets.

So-called world's best technologies are technologies of destruction of the most important in the world like a human body, real honest education and real economy of the world. Some people like Mr. Nikola Tesla with great abilities never would do anything against humanity or the world for any money in the world, while the other ones “smarter“ than him, like the great Bill Gates and others like him, will do nothing else but destruction of the world and humanity. Please, just for a moment see people and children occupying themselves with computers, cellular telephones, computerized toys and others, radiating themselves - most of the time directly to the brain – destructing everything that is natural in the body, developing diseases, tumors, cancers, leukemia and all other disorders due to these so called great inventors and scientists. In fact, those inventors and scientists are doing crimes against humanity and the world in order to become billionaires on the most criminal and primitive way that only they can invent and get others like them to support them and legalize such crimes. Karolinska institutet and Royal families attached to it are a great support to them, giving Nobel Prize to such a kind.

I beg Vatican not to do anything against humanity and the world and not support any kind of medicine, pharmaceutical industries and other mafia's activities otherwise they include themselves in something completely opposite to the God and his thoughts and will!!!

By real honest education, knowledge, know-how I would like to help all the world in real natural health, honest education, real useful economy, peace in the world and respect of each others and so on.

Due to the role you are playing in the entire world, previously and at the time, in fact with all your efforts to help the world you are doing just contrary to interest of the entire world. Your recent Nobel prize for so called medicine would not help to prevent self-destruction, just contrary it would contribute to self-distruction of the world. The knowledge you understand is missing very basic understanding of the reality due to your high standings. So called medicine is the main cause of the problems in the world, it is primitive, it is deceiving and on purpose misleading the whole world and it is the main factor of the destruction of the humanity in the world. Even if it is not in your interest but reality it is in the interes of the world and truth sometimes comes out, you can't fool people all the time. It is just about time that you accept that natural function of the human body is superior to anything else in the world and you cannot put your interest in front of interest of the people and the world. Most of your Nobel prize winning inventions did not contribute anything good for the people of this world, just contrary, more synthetic and toxic materials into human bodies, not to mention radiation and pollution, it means tumors, cancer, central system disorder, deformations and agressive behavior, for example George W. Bush and his family, I would not be surprised if you will give him a Nobel prize, and why not if you are giving it to all of those, why not him too? Those inventions eliminate natural inteligence and with that make people dependant and forced to listen all kinds of idiots which have titles and less then nothing of else, and with that misleade others. If you continue to ignore the real knowledge, which you do not have, and on purpose push something primitive and damaging to the world it is crime against humanity. Your knowledge and know-how is not usefull knowledge at all. All these deceivings from so called medicine including your institute has to become illegal worldwide, for example our MedILS (Mediterranean Institute For Life Sciences) in Split, Croatia, in there they are all so called scientists without any basic knowledge, the country is financing them and gave them proprety and all they do over there is arguing, drinking coffey and smoking, I don't think that ever something like that can produce anything useful and I don't want to say anything else about situation in my country. Please, don't blame me writing you letter like this, blame yourselves. I do not trust you anything any more, in fact I never did. If you don't have any moral obligation for this world, I do have it. The medicine is the biggest enemy of the natural health and economy and leads to destruction of the world and it is extremly primitive and by mistake is called scientific. By eliminating damages which so called medicine is doing to the people and the world, they wouldn't be fooled anymore and they will become superior to primitive medicine and main problems of the economy would be eliminated. People would be naturally healthy, independent healtwise, productive, honest, respectful, morally responsible and naturally very inteligent, would not be working against themselves and would be respectable for the interest for the rest of the world.

Thank you very much for doing so positive things and it is not just good for U.K. but is very necessary something good in all world and definitely you are trying to do your best part of it, I wish I could help this world to be better. I am Croatian born Canadian citizen, at the time my native country Croatia is extremly corrupted from the head of the goverment, justice and so on, and it is almost impossible to do anything realistic and honest.

It is my moral obligation, in the interest of our homeland Croatia and the whole world, to introduce you to the opportunities which are of utmost importance for all mankind.

I want to stress out that use of todays knowledge and technology, in some cases, is not adequate enough to achive a goal to have a healthy human body. It is essential to eliminate the cause of the problem and than the problem itself will be eliminated. Narrow-mindetly, in todays practice is trying to eliminate the problem, but  the cause of that problem remains. To eliminate the cause of a problem is needed to know, both in the theory and in the practise, the natural function of the human body. It is important to be aware of the fact that human body naturally is extremly capable and it is superior to anything else in the world, and you definitely, in your procedures and operations, entirely forget and or ignore that extremly important   fact. With that atitude, in spite of all your efforts, your procedures and operations which are supposed to help people, do exactly the oposite: they cause the problems. That way a wrong education without any natural base is trying to use as a scientific knowledge, and harms the mankind in all possible ways.          I was informed that your Government gave 144,3 millions dollars to The American National Institute For Cancer to use one small part of my inventions, technologies, know – how in the methods to convert cancerous cells in the body.

         It bothers me that they play stupid like technology does not exist. I was not asked about anything officially, they know - how to steal it!

         It happened to me previously that some one of your “scientist”, precisely two of them became Noble Price Winners for synthetic blood which is worthless. Few years ago the file of my invention was stolen. The same does not worth to me anything I got no use for it anymore. I use it in process catalytically rejuvenation of the blood and with that rejuvenation of the body. For that process synthetic blood was more stabile than natural blood. Many years ago I was able to do the same different way. What is real problem in that, yours so called “scientists” use title of Noble Price to have influence and use influence as a camouflage what ever they do in their life and people pay for it. In the other matter with your National Institute for Cancer they can not use my technologies and methods without my permission or permission of my country which is Canada. I would suggest to your Government to try at least once to do something honest if it is possible. I do not think that your National Institute for Cancer is capable to do anything useful for the interest of the people and/or your country or anybody else. All they are interested is money no matter how.

         Health business in the U. S. A. even when they do less than nothing they are still the best in the world! I do not remember one person that was helped in your the best outlets in the world, only was lots of empty words just remember Late King of Jordan, not to mention many, many others.

         Dear Sir, I am asking from your Government to stop wasting public money with your “super experts” and honestly could profit trillions of dollars and extremely progress in real wellbeing of all people with health problems and prevent others from the health problems. I beg your government to stop selling all over the world chemicals like gramaxson, round – up, synthetic urea, which people use in farming and you are destroying their lives. Also yours the most famous soft drinks and some of your fast foods are an insult to intelligence of the people all over the world, not to mention tobacco and synthetic hormones in your food and so on. When people have consumption of all this garbage mentioned they are looking for more of the same kind it means drugs legal or those not legal in real they are the same! These are not a treats I am pointing out the facts and it is my moral obligation to help others because I am capable to do so.          Re; my visit to the Embassy on 16.09.2004 and talking to the official of the Embassy I would like you to inform the Government of Canada about very important assets, intellectual properties, technology, know – how that I invented and developed trough more than forty five years, to be protected from the other countries than Canada and Republic of Croatia. I was informed that Republic of Austria illegally use parts of my technology and know – how and imitating pseudo products look a like mine. Yesterday I was informed that Government of the U.S.A. gave one hundred and forty four million dollars to The National Institute for Cancer to copy one very small part of my technology, know – how in treating and conversion of the cancerous cells in the body with ignoring that technology exist and it is property of mine.

         I was born Croatian, Canadian Citizen, and the all my developments and technology belongs to Canada and partly to the Republic of Croatia when will be suitable country to be helped.

         This is not an ordinary business, my intention is to contribute and help all the people in the world equally as a humanitarian. It is the most important technology, know – how and products unique in the entire world, it is natural and the most scientific processes – methods in the world.

         Unfortunately, pharmaceutical industries and business, soft drinks companies and some other fast food companies would not profit on these establishments, quite contrary.
